While he stained the deck, I made homemade ice cream. Mom and Terry bought us an ice cream maker, so of course I just HAD to try it out...
First hint of ice cream starting...
I made peach gelato last week. For the calorie (and fat) difference, I think we prefer the gelato, but the vanilla bean was wonderful as well (especially with crushed oreos).

Ohhh! What's the recipe you're using for your ice cream and gelato? I have the ice cream attachment for our kitchenaid mixer and have been making ice cream lately. Haven't found a great vanilla recipe yet, though.
